Celebrate YOUR library during National Library Week!
The theme for National Library Week (April 4-10, 2021), “Welcome to Your Library,” promotes the idea that libraries extend far beyond the four walls of a building – and that everyone is welcome to use their services. During the pandemic libraries have been going above and beyond to adapt to our changing world by expanding their resources and continuing to meet the needs of their users. Whether people visit in person or virtually, libraries offer opportunities for everyone to explore new worlds and become their best selves through access to technology, multimedia content, and educational programs.
Ways to Celebrate
GREAT NEWS!
Extended Hours!
Beginning Tuesday, April 6th we are OPEN  for browsing & computer use by 30 minute appointment and hold pick-up for extended hours! That means two evenings and Saturdays every week!

Fines 1/2 Off During National Library Week
We are not currently assessing fines, but if you have some pesky charges from before the pandemic, now is your time to take care of them. To celebrate National Library Week, April 4-10, the library is taking 50% off any overdue fines. Sorry, this doesn't apply to lost items or charges for damage.
Friends of the Library Annual Meeting
The Annual Meeting for the Friends of the Mt. Angel Library will be on Wednesday, April 21 at 6:30pm in the Library's Community Room. All interested folks are invited to attend.
Needed:
Paper Towel Rolls
If you have some paper towel rolls lying around, would you consider donating them to the library? We are in need of some for an upcoming project.
Thanks in advance!

Our New
"Honor Wall"
Located in the library's vestibule, we have installed a new "Honor Wall"  to acknowledge all those who made our beautiful building possible. The wall also honors those who have contributed to the Library's Endowment Fund. Special thanks to Terry Seiler, whose memorial to her parents made the wall a reality, and Keith Teem who installed it.
