A Letter from Your Librarian
Dear Patrons,
We miss you and look forward to the day that you can use the library again without restrictions. Throughout the pandemic, we have been complying with the mandates of the Oregon Health Authority. In light of the CDC’s recent announcement about mask wearing for vaccinated individuals, OHA has issued updated guidance that you can read in full below. Because we at the library are ferocious about protecting your privacy, we will NOT be checking your vaccination status. The OHA states, “In public settings where vaccination status is not checked, masks will still be required. “ So, we continue to require masks for entry into the library and any interaction with library staff until further guidance is issued.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Our greatest concern has been and always will be the health and well being of you, our beloved patrons, and library staff.
Looking forward to seeing you soon. Until then, stay safe and healthy.
Jackie
