Trivia Night at Pub 210 East

Calling all trivia buffs. Come to Trivia Night at Pub 210 East (210 East Charles St.) Play solo or form a team of up to 5 adults and put that collective brain to work for fun prizes!  Families welcome!
 

Puzzle Challenge
Saturday, June 21 @ 1:00pm
All Ages
 
Form a team of up to five people and compete in a race to finish the same 500-piece puzzle in two hours or less! It’s a test of speed, teamwork and puzzle-solving skills! All supplies provided. Space is limited so pre-registration is required. Call 971.370.5040 to reserve your team’s spot today.
Individuals may sign up and form an ad hoc team that day.
 
 

Library Advisory Board
Recruiting for two positions
 
The Library Advisory Board meets four times per year and exists to advise, recommend, and advocate for the library. Any interested community member is welcome to apply (must live within the city limits of Mt. Angel.)

Library Road Trip: One Card, Eighteen Great Libraries!
Now - August 30
 
Your library card gives you access to 17 other libraries in the CCRLS (Chemeketa Cooperative Regional Library Service) system! Grab your Library Road Trip tracking log from the library front desk to participate.
 
This is a self-paced challenge, with the goal just to see how many you can visit this summer. All libraries will offer a secret fun fact about their library. Some libraries might award a small prize. Turn in your tracking log to Mt. Angel Public Library by August 30th to be entered for a prize drawing.

Tea of the Month
June Tea: Pomegranatopia--mixed berry promeganate white tea (while supplies last)

In honor of Jane Austen’s upcoming 250th birthday this December, we’re celebrating with a year of tea! A new tea will be featured starting on the first Friday of every month in 2025.

We’d love to hear your thoughts on our Tea of the Month! Share your experience by emailing us or using #MtAngelTea on social media, and if you do, you’ll receive a free tea strainer! One lucky commenter will also win a Tea Advent Calendar in November 2025.

Skill Up Oregon, powered by Metrix Learning, offers free access to more than 7,000 online courses in high-demand fields such as business, leadership, information technology, manufacturing, workplace safety, and soft skills. With new courses added monthly, Oregonians can learn at their own pace, 24/7, on any internet-connected device—at no cost to the learner. Topics ranging from customer service, project management, and digital literacy to leadership skills, data management, and workplace safety are available.
