The days are getting shorter as autumn moves into winter, the frost has settled in, and we think it's the perfect time to curl up with a new book! While people get busy in the preparation for the holidays, it's important to take time for yourself as well. In addition to some great books, DVDs, and even board games that we have available, we are also planning some winter fun!

Wintry Tales at Hiatt Christmas Trees

Join us as we walk into a world where early literacy is everywhere! This program is for children and family members of all ages.
Space is limited, so register in advance online or sign up at the Library. Please note: This program takes place outdoors around the Library and into the Community Park.

Gingerbread Cookie Kit

Run, run as fast as you can!  Run to the Library to pick up a kit with a gingerbread cookie to decorate for the holidays. Available while supplies last.

December Take and Make Activities

Beginning Tuesday, December 14
Pick up activity kits for everyone in your family!

Kids ages 3-6: Wintry Lights
Kids ages 7-11: Wintry Lights
Teens: Beaded Snowflakes
Adults: Mason Jar Lid Wreaths

Kits will be available beginning Tuesday, December 14 during regular Library hours and are limited to 1 per person while supplies last. Kits will be available in the Library and through curbside pickup. Call 503-769-3313 for more info.
