What is A Library of Things?

A Library of Things is a collection of items for loan that expands the boundaries of traditionally defined library materials. The Stayton Public Library already has a collection of games, but they want to expand to be able to lend STEAM-based items such as a microscope, coding, robotics, and engineering kits.

Winter Reading Bingo

There's still time to finish your Winter Reading Bingo!

To join in, you can pick up a Bingo card for everyone in your family at the Library or participate online through ReadSquared or the ReadSquared app. Read books, explore a new genre, engage with different types of materials and experiences, and earn a prize! Adults and teens can earn a Stayton Library mug, and kids can earn a gnome to adopt and go on adventures with. We have bingo cards for all ages so everyone can participate.

Join us as we walk into a world where early literacy is everywhere! This program is for children and family members of all ages.
Space is limited. Please note: This program takes place outdoors around the Library and into the Community Park.
