April showers? Read for hours! April 3-9, 2022 is National Library Week, a time we highlight the essential role libraries, librarians, and library workers play in transforming lives and strengthening communities. The theme for this year’s National Library Week is “Connect with Your Library,” which promotes the idea that libraries are places to get connected to technology by using broadband, computers, and other resources such as our wifi hotspots. Libraries also offer opportunities to connect with media, programs, and ideas, in addition to books. Most importantly, libraries also connect communities to each other. Behind the scenes, we have added 20 new STEAM items to our Library of Things so far, and we have even more coming! You can check out what we have added here. Thank you so much again to our amazing donors who made this happen. We are also busy planning our Summer Reading Program for all ages! See you at the Library!
