Family Science Night:

Move like a Mammoth!

Thursday, May 4th @ 6:15pm

Can you pounce like a saber tooth cat, lift like a mammoth,

or stroll like a giant ground sloth?

Get moving as you discover how these and other amazing

ancient animals ran, swam, leaped, climbed, and ate

their way through Oregon’s history.

Through hands-on exhibits and activities,

explore fossils, bones and teeth while

comparing ancient animals to those living in Oregon today.

Presented by the Museum of Natural and Cultural History.

Volunteers Pepper and Keith Teem Honored at Oregon's Library Association Conference

On April 21st at their awards reception in Bend, OR, the Oregon Library Association awarded Pepper and Keith Teem "Library Supporters of the Year" in honor of their decades of service to the library.  Jackie nominated both of them and presented the award.  We could all hear an audible "wow" from the librarians in the room as Jackie spoke about Pepper and Keith's 49 years of support, and all of the wonderful things they've given to the library and the Mt.
