Summer Reading Starts June 15th!

Summer Reading is for All Ages!

 

Pick up your reading log and register for Summer Reading starting

June 15th @ 1:00pm at our

Kickoff Party!

 

Reading lasts from June 15th to

August 31st.

 

Earn weekly prize entries for weekly and grand prizes!

 

We will have activities and fun for all ages all summer long through August 31st.

 

Register at the library or on READsquared (starting June 15th!)

National Library Pen Pal Project:

Register by June 10th for a Summer Pen Pal!

Get a Pen Pal for the Summer!

 

Ages 5 and up can register to send and receive postcards to someone a similar age--all the mailing will be done by the library!

Our bookshelf mural on the courtyard tree is coming along! Thanks to Katie for her beautiful work so far.

Sidewalk Chalk Festival (All ages):

 

Create a masterpiece out of chalk!

 

People of all ages and skill levels are invited to decorate a square of sidewalk on Charles St. using chalk and a lot of imagination!

 

All supplies provided.

Movie in the Park (All ages)

Karaoke/Sing-Along begins at 8:00pm!

Bring your own chair or blanket, a jacket & bug spray to enjoy the family movie

The Goonies (PG) on the library’s outdoor theater—outside in Saalfeld Park,

Community Helpers Family Storytime & Indoor Playtime

Tuesdays @ 10:30am

(Ages 2-5 & family members): 

 

Gather in person to participate in songs, activities and stories with a special guest reader, followed by Indoor Playtime (11:00-12:00). Come play with toys and spend time with friends.  All toys provided.

Fireworks are displayed at Kennedy High School and will begin at dark.
