Featured News:

2024: SPICE OF THE MONTH KITS

Throughout 2024, the library will feature a different spice each month. The first Friday of each month, a new Spice of the Month kit will be available for pick up. Each kit will include information about the featured spice, a simple recipe suggestion, and a small packet with enough for at least two recipes. Kits are free but supplies are limited. One kit per family, please.For adults and teens.

JANUARY SPICE: SMOKED PAPRIKA

YUMS AROUND THE WORLD

THURSDAY, JANUARY 4 @ 6:30PM

Sample snacks from fourteen different countries and five different continents while learning about winter holiday traditions from around the world--a great way to kick off our year of "Spice of the Month" activities. Participants will be the first to nab our January spice kits. Space is limited so call to register today. For teens & adults.

NOTE: this program is not recommended if you have food allergies. 

The library will be closed on Saturday, January 13 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

EXHIBIT

A hands-on,bilingual, traveling exhibit for kids of all ages to explore the benefits and application of STEAM in our personal lives.

Writers' Group

Gather and chat with a group of fellow writers! Bring up to 3 pages of your work to read & get feedback on. We'll have fun with writing prompts and share our favorite reads.

(Ages 2-5 & family members): This month, we will explore penguins through singing, stories, crafts and play. Storytime with the Chief on Jan. 17th.

Indoor Playtime (11:00-12:00): Come play with toys and spend time with friends.  All toys provided.

Grab a group of friends, or come alone, and meet some new faces. Follow along with TikToker Andrea Nelson, to make a “black glue watercolor giraffe” while we enjoy board games and snacks! Join us to have some fun in a supervised safe controled environment. .

Teen Book Club (4:30) & Teen Advisory Board (5:00) (Grades 6-12):  Calling all teens to join our monthly Teen Advisory Board meeting and help collaborate with the library on programs, collections, games, and more--snacks provided! The first 30 minutes, we will be discussing Short by Holly Golderg Sloan.
